Privacy Policy

1. Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is AT Transportation Group S.A., operating under the trade name Alcar Transport, tax ID (RUC) [POR COMPLETAR: RUC], located at [POR COMPLETAR: dirección física, Ciudad de Panamá, Panamá]. You can reach us atinfo@attransportationgroup.com.

We process your personal data in accordance with Law 81 of 2019 on Personal Data Protection of the Republic of Panama and its regulation (Executive Decree 285 of 2021). If you visit from the European Union, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or the United States, sections 10 and 11 explain additional rights you have.

2. What data we collect

The forms on this site are the quote form, the contact form and the feedback form about your experience. Through them we collect:

• Identity and contact details: first and last name, email address and phone number (with country code).
• Trip details: pickup and drop-off locations, date and time, number of passengers and bags, flight number, the vehicle category you chose and any notes you add.
• Your message, if you use the contact form.
• Your comment, and optionally your name and email, if you rate the service 1 to 3 stars on the rating page. It is private: it is not published and only our team receives it by email.
• Technical data generated as you browse: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited and approximate country. Part of it is collected by the cookies you accept (see the Cookie Policy).

We do not collect payment data: quotes are handled by email, WhatsApp or phone, never on this site. We also do not ask for sensitive data (health, racial origin, religion, etc.); please do not include it in the notes.

3. Why we use it and on what basis

• To answer your request and provide the service: prepare your quote, coordinate and confirm your transfer, assign a vehicle and driver, and handle changes or cancellations. Basis: your consent when you submit the form and performance of the service you request.
• To contact you by email, WhatsApp, text message or phone call, to give you information related to your request and to our services. Basis: the consent checkbox on the form. You can withdraw it at any time (section 8).
• To review your comment about the service and, if you left your email, reply to you. Basis: your consent when you submit it.
• Security and abuse prevention for the site and its forms. Basis: our legitimate interest in protecting the service.
• To meet legal, accounting and tax obligations.
• To measure site usage and, if we run advertising, its effectiveness, through analytics and marketing cookies. Basis: your choice in the cookie banner.

We do not sell your personal data or use it for purposes other than those described.

4. Who we share it with

We only share your data with those who need it to provide the service:

• Our team and the drivers assigned to your transfer, with the data needed to serve you.
• Providers of technical services, acting on our instructions: our database and the infrastructure that hosts the site, and the service that sends notification and confirmation emails.
• Google, in two ways. (a) The address fields of the form use Google Maps (address autocomplete and route calculation): Google receives what you type in those fields, the pickup and drop-off coordinates, your IP address and browser data. It does not receive your name, email or phone number. (b) If you accept analytics or marketing cookies, Google Tag Manager and the Google tools activated through it (Google Analytics and, if we run advertising, Google Ads).
• Meta Platforms, only if you accept marketing cookies and we enable its advertising measurement tool, and when you message us on WhatsApp (a Meta service subject to its own terms).
• Authorities with jurisdiction, when a law or valid order requires it.

Google and Meta process some data as independent controllers under their own privacy policies. If, after rating us 4 or 5 stars, you choose to leave a review on Google, that review is published under your Google account and governed by Google's terms.

5. International transfers

Our technical providers, Google and Meta may process data on servers located outside Panama, including the United States and other countries. When that happens we require contractual confidentiality and security commitments from providers and limit the data shared to what is necessary. By submitting a form or accepting cookies, you accept these transfers.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your request data for as long as needed to handle it and provide the service, and afterwards for the period required by accounting and tax rules and to defend against claims. Contact form messages and service comments are delivered by email and are not stored in our booking system. If you use the quick Book Now form, we store the trip details you enter (date, time and pickup/drop-off) with a reference code. Your IP address is stored with it only to prevent abuse and is deleted after 24 hours; unconverted requests contain no contact details. Analytics and marketing data are kept according to each tool's own retention periods, and your cookie preference is stored in your browser. When we no longer need the data, we delete or anonymize it.

7. How we protect it

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures: encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted access to the internal panel with individual credentials, and anti-abuse filters on the forms. No system is infallible; if an incident affects your data, we will act as the law requires.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access your data, rectify it,cancel (delete) it, object to its processing and request itsportability. You can also withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out before the withdrawal.

To exercise them, write to info@attransportationgroup.com stating which right you want to exercise and the email or phone number you used in your request, so we can identify you. We will respond as soon as possible and within the legal deadlines. Every quote confirmation email also includes a link to cancel that specific request.

If you believe we did not handle your request properly, you may go to Panama's National Authority for Transparency and Access to Information (ANTAI).

9. Minors

Our services and forms are intended for people over 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors; if you believe a minor has given us data, write to us and we will delete it.

10. If you visit from the EU, the EEA or the UK

We apply the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) standard to people in those territories. Analytics and marketing cookies are only activated if you accept them. In addition to the rights in section 8, you can request restriction of processing and lodge a complaint with the data protection authority of your country. Transfers outside your territory rely on the safeguards described in section 5 and on your consent.

11. If you live in the United States

Privacy laws in several states (such as California) give you the right to know what data we collect, ask for its correction or deletion, and opt out of its sale or its use for targeted advertising, without being discriminated against for exercising them. We collect the categories described in section 2 for the purposes in section 3, and we do not sell personal data.

If we enable marketing cookies, using Google or Meta tools for advertising may count as "sharing" data for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can opt out at any time from "Cookie preferences" in the footer; we also honor the Global Privacy Control signal from your browser, which turns marketing cookies off by default. 13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the law or the tools we use change. The "Last updated" date always reflects the current version; if the change is significant, we will say so on the site.
